Citizens of the UAE can now renew their passports automatically.
Thanks to a sophisticated system established Monday by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai, Emirati individuals will have their passports automatically renewed and delivered to their doorstep six months before they expire.
The system uses artificial intelligence to detect passports that are about to expire before notifying GDRFA agents to take action.
