In keeping with the bank’s ongoing digital transformation journey and vow to remain closer to its clients, the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) recently revised its Digital Banking App to include additional upgrades aimed at simplifying its customers’ digital banking experience.
Beginning with the recent launch of Apple Pay, where National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has implemented card registration on the app, allowing for a streamlined procedure that suits their customers’ different demands and requirements, the new app will provide a variety of upgraded features meant to elevate the open banking journey. Customers will also be able to apply for and receive new credit cards promptly using the app by promising an amount from their active savings, current, or fixed deposit accounts as a guarantee.
Customers will also be able to get an instant virtual prepaid card that can be conveniently topped up, as well as securely set up and update their card PIN for all National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) -issued cards, using the app.
Account holders will be able to monitor and change their personal account and other contact details, such as a customer’s phone number, by going to the update profile part of the app and simply uploading the required documents, rather than having to visit or contact the bank. The bank has also added a new function that works to update customer data (KYC), allowing clients to update their data in a few simple and secure steps. Watch More: Gulf Tech & News
