Register in Saudi Council
A procedure for registering technicians has been established by the Saudi Council of Engineers.
Engineers and technicians from outside nations must register with the Saudi Council of Engineers before working in Saudi Arabia (SCE). For technicians with or without a diploma credential, the SCE registration process is explained below.
Required Documents:
Photographs
a copy of your Iqama scanned
a letter of authorization that has been self-attested
Sponsor’s employment letter
A scanned copy of your passport SCE costs
SCE charges
The registration fee is SR 500.
The membership price is SR 200 per year.
Technicians must register with the SCE.
The website for the Saudi Engineering Council is https://www.saudieng.sa/.
Go to “Join to Saudi Council Membership” to become a member of the Saudi Council.
Please fill in the following information:
- Nationality
- Email Address
- Select “Technician” from the “Membership Classification” drop-down menu.
- New Password:
- Preferred Notification is in English
- Iqama Number or Border Number
- Mobile Number
- Select “Register” to complete the registration procedure.
To access the site,
simply type in your username and password.
Fill in the remainder of your personal information, including:
- Nationality
- Gender
- Job Title
- City of Residence
- Employer
- Region
- English Name
- Arabic Name
- Country of Birth
- Date of Birth
The next step is to select Membership. Years of service: one, two, or three
The option “Next” should be chosen.
To answer the question, choose one of the following options.
Do you have a certificate of completion?
on the following page: The response is either yes or no.
If you select yes, you will be required to give the following information:
- Specialization
- Graduation Country
- Name of the College or University
- Graduation Year
- Click “Next” to continue.

- Iqama / Border Number (Please provide a clean copy of your Iqama). Upload a photocopy of your visa together with the border number if you’re registering with a border number.)
- Employment Letter with Self-Attested Authorization (It must be attested by chamber of commerce)
- Passport photocopy
- When you’ve uploaded all the needed papers, click “Finish.”

Once you’ve paid the SR 500 fee for Saudi engineering council registration for technicians, the SCE will begin checking your documents. They may request further papers or a clear copy of the same.
