How To Generate SBI ATM Card PIN?

Generating the SBI Debit Card PIN at ATM

To generate the SBI ATM PIN, follow these steps.

  • Insert your SBI ATM card into any SBI ATM.
  • Navigate to the ‘PIN Generation’ tab, enter the 11-digit account number printed on the card, and then click the ‘Confirm’ button.
  • After that, enter your registered mobile number and click the ‘Confirm’ button.
  • Then, on the screen, you’ll see a notice that says, ‘Your green PIN will be delivered to your registered cellphone number shortly.’
  • Then, after clicking the ‘Confirm’ button, you’ll see a notice that says, ‘Your Green PIN generation has been successful, and you will receive the same on your mobile number.’
  • Following that, you will be sent a one-time PIN (OTP) to your registered mobile number.
  • It’s known as the Green PIN. As a result, you must confirm that the registered mobile number is active on your phone.
  • Following that, you must remove and re-insert the SBI card to generate your secured and new card PIN, for which you must use the provided Green PIN.
  • After reinserting your SBI card into the ATM, navigate to the ‘Banking’ menu and choose your preferred language. Then, enter the OTP you received on your registered cell phone.
  • From the ‘Select Transaction’ window, select the ‘PIN Change’ option. You must enter a new 4-digit PIN and confirm it here. After a successful process, you will receive a notice reading, ‘Your PIN has been successfully changed.’ You must use that PIN solely to complete any transaction, balance check, or money withdrawal with this card.

SBI Debit Card PIN Generation via SMS

You must have the Green PIN that you will get on your registered cellphone number in order to generate a new secured ATM PIN.

  • SMS PIN, the last four digits of the card number, and the last four digits of the bank account number associated with the debit card to 567676.
  • The OTP will then be sent to the same mobile number and will be valid for two days.
  • Similarly, you must visit any SBI ATM and enter the number/Green PIN to generate the card PIN.
  • Then, at the ATM, repeat the preceding steps to generate the new ATM PIN.
