Saudi Arabia – Decrease in Traffic Fine
Saudi Arabia has agreed to a split payment of traffic fines and a 25% decrease.
The higher authorities have issued a decree approving changes to the Traffic Law that allow for split payment of traffic fines and a 25% rebate on fines in certain circumstances.

Decrease in Traffic Fine
The following change was made to paragraph 3 of Article 73 of the Traffic Law: “The payment of the traffic fee for a single infraction may be performed in split payments.
According to rules imposed by the Minister of Interior in consultation with the Minister of Finance, the amount of the traffic fee may be lowered by a percentage not exceeding 25% of its minimum value. In this regard, a draught royal decree has been created.
