Employer to bear these all fees related to an Expat worker

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia has set the types of fees that bears by the employer on behalf his non-Saudi expatriate workers.

It includes the return ticket for the expat worker to his home country, after the end of his work contract relationship with the employer.

The MHRSD also highlighted that, the employer also bears the fees of recruiting the worker, fees of changing his profession and the exit re-entry visa fees.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development stated that, the employer must bear the fees of bringing an expat worker from his country, accommodation fee, iqama fee, work permit fee, iqama and work permit renewal fee, changing profession fee, exit re-entry visa fee and a ticket to return for worker to his home country after the end of the work relationship.

Earlier this, the ministry clarified that, if the service of an expat worker is transferred to another employer, the new employer to pay the iqama and work permit fee including the required job transfer fee.
