ArcosJet, a Dubai-based aircraft brokerage firm, has recently acquired shares in Air Chateau, a private heliport operator based in the UAE.

This strategic move is part of their plan to develop a large-scale helicopter project in the region, aiming to create a comprehensive network of heliports across the Emirates, the company said in a statement.

Air Chateau owns a certified 8-pad commercial heliport at the VIP Terminal within Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport, which has been operational since November 2021.

Additionally, the company is set to open the country’s first commercial helicopter hangar outside of airport premises by April 2024.

“We see an unfilled market niche in developing private helicopter infrastructure in the UAE. Together with Air Chateau and with support from the government of Dubai, we expect to unite heliports across the Emirates into one network with Dubai South and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), which will greatly improve door-to-door accessibility of the entire area for UHNWIs,” Mikhail Alenkin, Founder and CEO of ArcosJet said.

ArcosJet’s vision for modern aviation

ArcosJet’s mission is to develop modern, high-tech private and business aviation, focusing on efficiency, safety, sustainable development, and innovative solutions, the statement added.
