Visit Visas can be extended online, one week before its Expiry

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia urged people who are in the Kingdom on various types of visit visas to strictly adhere to the laws and regulations governing their visas and extend the visa validity online 7 days before the its expiry. The Saudi Jawazat stated that, there is no need to visit the Jawazat offices for extending visit visa.

– The extension of the visit visa is possible for single entry visit visa, seven days before its expiry through Absher platform. The extension can be done through Absher Individuals, Absher Business and through Muqeem platforms.

– The procedures for extending a visa must be completed in line with the terms and conditions specified. The single entry visit visa extension cannot go longer than 180 days in total.

– The Jawazat advised the beneficiaries that they might contact them through its communication service on the Absher platform if they encountered any issues in using the visit visa extension service online.
