The financial compensation for each migrant worker does not exceed the number of Saudi workers, which is estimated to be 8,400 per year and 700 per month, according to the ministry, while the value of the financial compensation for each migrant worker in the event of an increase in the number of Saudi workers is 9600 riyals per year and 800 per month in the event of an increase in the number of Saudi workers.
They said that the license fee and financial consideration are collected when a work permit is issued or renewed, and that the licensing charge is 100 riyals divided into periods, while the financial compensation is divided according to the license term, as shown in the table below:
They warned that financial compensation in excess of the number of Saudi employees should be collected first for the units for which fees should be paid, followed by financial compensation for labor equivalent to the number of Saudi workers.
It also stated that if a worker has late work permits, all arrears must be paid when the worker’s work permit is issued or renewed, provided that the fees for previous late years are calculated based on the price of the current financial compensation due for the labor, and the financial dues are not divided from the delayed work permits.
