Sharjah has announced a new three-day weekend.

Sharjah has announced the implementation of a four-day workweek. On weekdays, government personnel will work from 7.30 a.m. until 3.30 p.m. As a result, the new weekend will consist of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The new workweek and schedule will begin on January 1, 2022.

The UAE government had previously declared that it will go to a four-and-a-half-day workweek, with half-day weekends on Saturday, Sunday, and Friday.

From the 8th of December through the 31st of January, American Express Cardmembers who spend BD 5 or more at participating small businesses in Bahrain will earn a BD 2 statement credit, which may be used up to ten times. Small companies in Bahrain who participate in the Shop Small programme will receive free marketing assistance as well as local advertising efforts.
