The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia announced the start of Saudization for the professions of secretarial, translation, stock keeper and data entry from 8th May, 2020 in all the regions of the Kingdom. Join Saudi Expatriates channel on imo mobile app

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi issued a ministerial decision on 18th Rabi Al-Awwal, 1443 to localize the professions of secretarial, translation, stock-keepers and data entry in all regions of Saudi Arabia.

– The decision came to limit these professions to Saudi Nationals in private sector companies, with a minimum salary of 5,000 riyals in order to calculate in Saudization percentages for translators and stock keepers.


– The Minister’s decision will come into force from 7th Shawwal 1443 (8th May 2022) and to provide over 20,000 jobs for male and female citizens.

– The Ministry also issued a procedural guide detailing decision and the mechanisms necessary for its implementation to make sure the establishment’s compliance. The ministry to provide packages and incentives and support related to supporting private sector companies in employing Saudi nationals.
