Saudi: Two arrested for attempt to smuggle drugs – Gulf Insider

Security follow-up on drug smuggling has resulted in thwarting an attempt to smuggle 403,000 amphetamine pills into Saudi Arabia.

The pills were found hidden in a shipment of fava beans inside plastic molds in Jeddah. A Syrian resident and a Saudi citizen were arrested in connection with the smuggling attempt and referred to the Public Prosecution.
