Saudi Arabia ranks first in the World, in Government Strategy Index for Artificial Intelligence
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked first in the world, in the Government Strategy Index for Artificial Intelligence, which ranks more than 60 countries worldwide and is one of the indicators of the global ranking of artificial intelligence published by Tortoise Intelligence, the Kingdom came out on top, followed by Germany and China. The global classification of artificial intelligence evaluates more than 100 criteria across seven indicators, including government strategy, research and development, competencies, infrastructure, operational environment, and trade.
– The presence of a government agency committed to artificial intelligence, the existence of funding and budget for artificial intelligence, the setting and monitoring of national artificial intelligence targets, and the existence of a national strategy dedicated to and approved for use in the Kingdom all contributed to the Saudi Arabia’s 100% performance on the index criteria.
– The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (“SADAIA”) was established by royal decree in 1440 AH (2018-2019) to serve as the national reference in all matters relating to their organization, development, and dealing. As a result, the Kingdom has been paying attention to artificial intelligence since an early time.
– It worked to develop the national strategy for data and artificial intelligence in order to coordinate efforts, launch initiatives nationalism in data and artificial intelligence, and make the best use of them.
