Saudi Arabia Advises Citizens To Stay Away From Polls in Istanbul – Gulf Insider

Saudi Arabia’s consulate in Istanbul advised citizens to stay away from polling centres for the presidential and parliamentary elections that will take place on Sunday.

The consulate stressed on the importance of carrying the original identification papers when going out. The consulate advised citizens to avoid crowded places.

It called on citizens to communicate with the diplomatic mission in emergency cases through phone numbers and e-mail.

More than 64.1 million voters will cast votes in Turkey and abroad. Around 4.9 million will vote for the first time in the country.

Voters will be able to cast their ballots with one of the official documents having their identity number.
