Riyadh Municipality Reveals Plans to Develop Al-Nahda Park – Gulf Insider

The Riyadh Municipality revealed plans to rehabilitate and develop Al-Nahda Park in the center of the Saudi capital on a total area of ​​112,000 square meters.

The development plan aims to advance the entertainment industry and promote cultural and social events, in addition to providing a suitable environment for pedestrians and bicycle users, in line with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in terms of raising the quality of life.

The municipality indicated that the development works are being carried out in two stages. The first stage involves the rehabilitation of the southern part of the park with a length of 1,700 meters.

The second stage includes developing the northern part with a length of 1,800 meters.

The implementation work will be characterized by the fact that the development of the park will blend cultural identity with modern designs, and highlight diversity to serve all groups and ages, in addition to developing the general landscape of the park by including several aesthetic and exciting elements such as sculptures.

The municipality said the park will comprise 15 developing elements, of which are a health walkway, a multi-purpose covered hall, waterfalls, and fountains square, a football field, an open club, and children’s games. Visitors will also be able to rent bicycles.
