At a spectacular draw attended by some of the game’s and entertainment industry’s biggest personalities, FIFA revealed the groups for the much-anticipated World Cup 2022, with the United States facing England and Iran in Group B and Spain facing Germany in a battle of past champions in Group E.
As the 233-day countdown to kick-off in Qatar begins, all 29 teams may now picture their path all the way to the final, while the remaining eight will compete for the final three berths in the June playoffs, according to Fifa.

For the first time, the match schedule will be announced in due course on FIFA.com after games have been assigned to a venue and kick-off time for each matchday, in order to optimize individual match specifics for the benefit and comfort of spectators, teams, and the media.
