Kuwait to India direct flight resumed Today (7th September)
Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Authority stated on Monday that direct commercial flights to India would resume today (7 September, Tuesday), while direct flights to Egypt resumed on Sunday.
According to Aviation Control Director Raed Al-Taher, the first aircraft to Kuwait is expected to arrive at 6 a.m. In compliance with Kuwait’s Cabinet’s recent decision to enhance the airport’s capacity, the DGCA has booked 5 flights each day, as per the seat capacity agreed upon by two nations.

Last month, the decision to resume flights was announced, but no time period for implementation was given. Kuwait has halted international flights to a number of countries, including India and Egypt, on medical advice owing to an increase in Corona cases.
With the start of the 2021-2022 season, the Kuwaiti Cabinet also announced that sports fans will be permitted into stadiums. Only vaccinated supporters will be admitted to stadiums, according to the Centre for Government Communication.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) removed travel restrictions on Indian, Pakistani, Nigerian, Nepalese, Sri Lankan, and Ugandan citizens last month. Individuals who have a significant UAE residence permit and have been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days before to travel are eligible for a free class.
