
Kuwait has resumed issuing new visas to expatriates in all categories.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has declared that all sorts of visas for foreigners, including dependents, business, tourist, and work visas, will be issued again.
New Visas for expatriates will be provided only to persons who have been completely vaccinated with Kuwait’s approved vaccines, according to the authorities (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson).
- The Interior Ministry stated in a statement that applications for the new visas would be received by the department of residence affairs in all regions of Kuwait, with applicants required to arrange a show-up date in advance on the ministry’s website.

- Foreigners and expats must show officials a vaccination certificate with a QR code before visas are issued, according to regulations from the two authorities.
- Expatriates who received vaccines that Kuwait has not approved must receive a booster dosage (3rd dose) from one of the approved vaccines and show the certificate to officials in order to obtain a visa.
- Dependent visas will only be awarded to applicants’ spouses, according to the Ministry of Interior’s Residency Affairs department.
- The department will provide dependent or tourist visas to children of Kuwaiti women who are married to foreigners. Watch More: Gulf Tech & News.
