It is not allowed to perform the rituals of Hajj pilgrimage on a Saudi visit visa – Ministry of Hajj and Umrah

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia reconfirmed that it is not allowed to perform the rituals of Hajj pilgrimage for those who are on a visit visa of the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah further stated that the Hajj pilgrimage can be perform on a visa that is designated for Hajj, or those who are the regular residents (iqama holders) in the Kingdom.

– This came in response from the Ministry of Hajj through its official Twitter, for an inquiry from one of the resident, who asked, His mother is with him on a visit visa, so can she perform the rituals of Hajj pilgrimage? Similar : Is it possible to perform Hajj on business visa?


– The ministry stated that, The Hajj rituals can only be performed for those who hold a visa specifically for this, or those who resides with regular residence permit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
