Before apply for this, prepare the above said documents properly.

After opening the website https://www.tnesevai.tn.gov.in/, there will be a Sign in Option in the homepage.

In the Sign in area there are two options given as Franchisee Login and Citizen Login. In it, you must click on “Citizen Login” Option.

If you don’t have an account, click on the “New User Signup here” option given below and fill in the details given in it. (Note: All the details given in the star code must be filled.

After filling in all the details you will get the OTP (One Time Password) number to the given phone number and you have to enter it. After that you have to log in by giving your registered username and password in the “Citizen Login” Section.

After logging in, click on the Department Wise option followed by Revenue Department Option.

In the second page of the list, you can find Other Backward Class Certificate (OBC) Option. You can Click on it.

After selecting, read the information given there and click the Proceed button.

After completing all these, click on the Register CAN button and fill in all the details given in it.

Now the CAN Registration Number message will be sent to the phone number you registered, enter that number in the CAN Register Box and click the Proceed button.

After that an OTP will be sent to your phone number. Enter it and click the Proceed button again. (Note: If you want to change the information provided, click the Edit CAN Detail button and change it)

Next you will get all the details you gave when you Register CAN Number. After filling in the Caste, Serial Number of the Caste and Occupational Group in the Personal Details area, the Status of Father and Status of Mother should be filled.

You need to double-check that all the completed details are correct and then click the Submit button.

Then in the List of Documents section four (Photo, Any Address Proof, Community Certificate, Self-Declaration by Applicant) Mandatory Options will be displayed. Know the size of the given image (50 KB) or PDF (200 KB) and upload accordingly.

Next, after downloading the Self Declaration Form and putting your signature on it, you need to scan and upload it.

After registering all the certificates, click on the Make Payment button and pay a fee of Rs.60.

Next, after verifying your application from the government office, the information will come to their phone number, then you can log in to TNeGA and download the OBC Certificate.

In the Meantime, You can check the status of your application by using your application Tracking number which is sent by SMS to your Registered Mobile Number.
