The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques introduced robots in Makkah Grand Mosque that guides visitors on how to perform their Umrah rituals, issue fatwas, answer their questions and provide opportunities for people to communicate with scholars remotely.
The robots can provide guidance to the Grand Mosque visitors in 11 languages which are, Arabic, English, French, Russian, Persian, Turkish, Malay, Urdu, Chinese, Bengali and Hausa.
– The 4-wheeled robots have 21 inch touchscreens and are prepared with a smart stopping system that permits them to move freely and smoothly.
