The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs in Saudi Arabia covers a variety of violations, especially targeting gas stations that have been disobeying certain regulatory standards. * If there isn’t a mosque on the gas station premises according to the rules, there will be a 5,000 riyal fine. Stations must build a mosque in order to make up for this offense.
* A penalty of up to 5,000 riyals will be imposed on those who failure to operate coffee shops at gas stations, in violation of municipal regulations.
* Fines ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 riyals will be imposed on gas stations without tire stores.
* The inability to keep washrooms clean or leaking water could result in a penalty of up to 2,500 riyals at gas stations.
* Lastly, there is a punishment of up to 2,500 riyals for gas stations that do not have trash cans or do not have clean floors.
– It is recommended that petrol station establishments strictly abide by these standards in order to prevent financial fines and to help improve the hygienic services offered to the public.
