Exit and re-entry visas are non-refundable.

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) announced that people who cancel their exit and re-entry visas will not receive a return of their costs.

The Jawazat further stated that the beneficiary cannot change the exit and re-entry visas, and that they may only be revoked through the Absher platform of the employer.

The Jawazat affirmed that costs for exit and re-entry visas cannot be returned in the event of cancellation, even if the recipient has reissued the same visa.

It is noteworthy that the Jawazat had announced earlier that the workers’ final-exit visas cannot be canceled during their probationary period.

The Jawazat reiterated that it is not allowed to convert visit visas into residency permits (iqama).
