Electronic Visas for Umrah are now being issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia started issuing electronic visas for Umrah from Yesterday. In an effort to facilitate the procedures for more Muslims to enter into the Kingdom to perform the rituals of Umrah and visit, as well as to improve the quality of services offered to them, in order to meet the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The Ministry said that it is advantageous to submit requests for the issuance of electronic visas via the Nusuk platform (www.nusuk.sa), provided that the date of their arrival begins from Muharram 1 1445 AH, because the Nusuk platform stands apart by simplifying the processes for the arrival of all Muslims from all over the world.
– It is important to keep in mind that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah previously announced, in collaboration with the relevant authorities, that people who have obtained entry visas to the Schengen countries, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom, as well as those who have obtained visit visas for tourism from residents of Gulf Cooperation Council countries, are eligible to schedule appointments to perform Umrah rituals. Before they arrive in the Kingdom, they can also use the Nusuk app to visit the Rawdah Al-Sharifa (Riyadhul Jannah) in Madina.
– The services offered by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to pilgrims are part of a recent development legislation package that also includes measures to extend the Umrah visa and reduce the amount of insurance paid by Umrah performers by 63% while maintaining the sustainability of exceptional health services for them.
