Dubai’s Emaar Cancels Community Events Over ‘Global Situation’

Emaar has cancelled community events and festivities in its Dubai property developments due to “the current global situation”, according to local media reports.

In a letter reportedly shared with residents, the Emaar Community Management team said events and festivities would be stopped until further notice.

Offering thoughts to those affected by recent events, Emaar also offered support and apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Emaar cancels events in Dubai

The message sent to Emaar residents said: “Please be informed that we are writing to inform you about an important decision that has been made regarding the upcoming community events and festivities.

“Due to the current global situation and the ongoing challenges faced by our global community, we have decided to cancel the upcoming community events until further announcement.

“We understand that our community events are cherished occasions for many, especially our younger residents, and this decision was not taken lightly.
