Children’s Visit Visa can be converted into Iqama, if their Parents hold iqama

Saudi Jawazat also announced that, if the head of the family is inside the Kingdom and if one of his dependent or companion is outside the Kingdom, then his their identity can be renewed.

– The Jawazat also clarified that, the expiry of the expat’s iqama does not stop the possibility of extending the visit visa.

– The General Directorate of Passports said that the extension of the family visit visa must not exceed 180 days. There will be fine, if the visit visa has not been extended even after 3 days of the expiry of visit visa.

– The Passports office also said that it has nothing to do in the regard of issuing and approving visit visa, those who wish to issue visit visa must contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
