Bahrain: Olympic Day To Be Held on November 4 – Gulf Insider

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), directed that the Olympic Day be held on November 4.

The Bahrain Olympic Committee will organise the Olympic Day in response to the annual invitation of the International Olympic Committee, in cooperation with national sports federations.

He affirmed his keenness to promote a culture of sports through a series of sports events that target all segments of society.

HH Shaikh Khalid highlighted the success of the previous editions of Olympic Day, thanking the public and private institutions for organising this year’s edition.

“The Olympic Day promotes practises that boost physical and mental health and sports ethics. Bahrain always celebrates the Olympic Day to consolidate these principles and spread them among society,” HH Shaikh Khalid added.
