Bahrain: Batelco Delivers iPhone 15 to First Customer by Red Bull Wingsuit Flyers – Gulf Insider

Batelco, launched the iPhone 15 at an event in collaboration with the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC). The event took place at the BIC on Thursday night, 28th September. At exactly 12:00 am, all eyes were drawn to the skies as a helicopter hovered over the BIC, and two Red Bull Wingsuit Flyers jumped from an altitude of 1500 meters, smoothly gliding to the ground, to deliver the iPhone 15 device for the 1st pre order customer.
As part of the launch, a night run was also organized in collaboration with Bahrain Triathlon Association, with four categories catering to all ages and abilities, including a cycling race, family walk, open run, and a run for differently abled individuals. All the winners received prizes of the latest Apple devices.
The launch kicked off with invited customers who had pre ordered the iPhone 15 gathering at the BIC Paddock Club to enjoy music and refreshments, while they waited to receive their new devices. Members of Batelco’s management team along with team members welcomed the customers and enjoyed meeting and interacting with them during the evening.
The first customer Mrs. Zahra Al Halwachi said, “What an epic way to receive an iPhone, the stunt was spectacular, and I feel lucky to be part of this great event, which was the highlight of my weekend.”
Batelco’s shops at City Center and Enma Mall also welcomed walk-in customers and greeted them with refreshments. Batelco is offering the full iPhone 15 lineup and the latest Apple Watch Series 9.
